Husqvarna Viking 1/4" Edge stitching Foot

Piecing:
1. Snap on the Edge Stitching Foot.
2. Select the pre-programmed scant (6 mm) quilter's piecing stitch.
3. Place two fabric pieces right sides together and place them under the presser foot. Let the guide at the edge of the foot ride along the edge of the fabric pieces.
4. Sew. The guide assures a perfect scant  (6 mm) seam allowance.

Quilting:
5. Snap on the 1/4" Edge Stitching Foot.
6. Select the pre-programmed scant 1/4" (6 mm) quilter's piecing stitch.
7. Sew with the guide riding in the pieced seam (ditch) of the quilt. When you come to a corner, stop when the fi rst red marking on the left side of the foot reaches the edge.
8. With the needle in the fabric, pivot and continue sewing. If you want the stitching ⅛" (3 mm) from the seam, select the 1/4" (6 mm) straight stitch as above. Let the inner edge of the right toe of the foot ride along the seam. When you come to a corner, stop when the second red marking on the left side of the foot reaches the edge. With the needle in the fabric, pivot and continue sewing.
