Refund and Return Policy

At Sewer's Delight, we support all of the products that we sell. If you feel that a product that you have purchased from us is faulty, please contact us - we will happily discuss your concerns.

Should your product be faulty, we will offer you a refund or exchange - at our discretion - providing that the follow conditions have been met:

  • where your product has no warranty offered by the manufacturer, any concerns have been brought to our attention withing 30 days of receiving your order
  • where your product has a warranty, the product's age falls within this warranty period and has not been used in breach of this warranty - typically this includes construction of items for sale, and general commercial use
  • you organise return postage to us, at your expense, and the product has been packaged in a reasonable manner as to ensure it arrives undamaged

As many of the products that we sell require the ability to apply it or use it correctly, we will need to rule out user-error prior to accepting a return. Should we receive your item and find that it is not faulty, we will not be able to supply a refund, and you will need to cover any reasonable expense to return it to you.

Please choose carefully - we do not offer a refund if you have changed your mind or if the product is not suitable. We strongly recommend that any machine parts or accessories purchased are discussed with us (via one of the methods mentioned above) prior to purchase, as we also can not refund these if you have chosen incorrectly.

Some products are not eligible for return for any reason. These are:

  • gift vouchers 
  • downloadable software products or media 
  • some health and personal care items
  • consumable items such as thread, where the product has been substantially used

If you believe that you have not yet received your refund, please take the following steps:

  • check your bank account history for the past 30 days 
  • contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 
  • contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted

Please note that if we are exchanging your item, we may have to wait for this item to arrive in-store before posting to you, and that delivery time may vary depending on your location.
